Ajivar (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the ajivar.com website and the Ajivar mobile application (the “Service”).

At Ajivar, respecting your privacy is fundamental to everything we do. Since our inception  of Ajivar we are always striving to develop our Services with tough and carefully drafted privacy standards to protect your privacy Ajivar is committed to protecting your private information. This Privacy Policy describes how 

Ajivar collects, uses and discloses information, and what alternatives the user has with respect to the information. We are dedicated to protect your privacy and recommend you to read this privacy policy and get in touch with us in case you have any further questions. This policy educates users about the processing of personal data that is collected from you, or provided to us, by Ajivar.  Kindly read the policy guidelines carefully to understand our procedures regarding the treatment of your personal data by Ajivar. Ajivar acts as the controller of your information, as described in “Our Legal Bases For Processing Information” below

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

 

What information we collect about you

 

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

 

Wellness-related data 

Ajivar delivers assessments to monitor depression, anxiety and social anxiety and collects the following data which is used to provide you with specific suggestions for improvement as well as being anonymized and used in aggregate to improve Ajivar’s machine learning. This data includes:

  • Symptom-related data:
    • Questions related to symptoms of depression, anxiety and resilience.
    • Questions about other complaints and symptoms.
    • Evaluations of the above-mentioned data regarding severity and type of symptoms.
    • Other screenings or surveys may be added to Ajivar to help you improve and track results and this data will be treated in the same secure, private manner.
  • Feelings or Mood-related data
    • Your information about your mood.
    • Text-based data that you input is securely transmitted and stored.
  • Data about your habits and hobbies
    • Questions about activities in which you participate

    This information is not used for advertising.

 

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Cookies and Usage Data

 

Usage Data

We may also collect information that your mobile device or browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device (“Usage Data”).

How we use the information we collect

 

Ajivar uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so

  • To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
  • To monitor the usage of the Service
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues

  • Send information regarding new features and product offerings – Targeted advertising. 

 

Aggregated Personal Information that is no longer personally identifiable

We anonymize and remove your Personal Information so that you cannot be identified, and use that information to improve Ajivar’s machine learning as well as conduct other studies with the purpose of improving the user experience and helping you achieve results. This information, once devoid of personally identifiable data, can be combined with that of others so that we can identify trends and teach the system, which will in turn help you achieve results. We may disclose anonymized data to a third party for the purpose of learning how to improve the service and your results. However, we never disclose any information to a third party in a manner that would identify you personally, as an individual.

 

Third Party Providers

We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you; for example, we may use a payment processing company to receive and process your credit card transactions for us. Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us, unless otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

 

How we share the information we collect 

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there.

All information provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions shall be encrypted using SSL or other suitable technology.  Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  We ask you not to share a password with anyone.​Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk, though we use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

How long we keep information

How long we keep information we collect about you depends on the type of information, as described in further detail below.  After such time, we will either delete your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.  

 

Account information 

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to re-activate the Services.  We also retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, to support business operations, and to continue to develop and improve our Services. Where we retain information for Service improvement and development, we take steps to eliminate information that directly identifies you, and we only use the information to uncover collective insights about the use of our Services, not to specifically analyze personal characteristics about you.

Any information entered during your interactions with Ajivar are anonymized to protect your personal information.

Ajivar may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Ajivar

Your Choices 

You have the right to request the deletion of your account. Below, we describe the tools and processes for making these requests.  You can exercise some of the choices by logging into the Settings menu of your account. For all other requests, you may contact us as provided in the Contact Us section below to request assistance.
Your request and choices may be limited in certain cases: for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal information about another person, or if you ask to delete information, which your organization’s administrator is permitted by law or have compelling legitimate interests to keep.  If you have unresolved concerns, you may have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country where you live, where you work or where you feel your rights were infringed.

 

Deactivate your account  

If you no longer wish to use our Services your organization’s administrator may be able to deactivate your account.  You may also contact us in the Contact Us section below to request assistance for this issue. 

 

Opt out of communications 

You may opt out of receiving communications from us by using the unsubscribe link within each email, updating your email preferences within your Service account settings menu, or by contacting us as provided below to have your contact information removed from our email list or registration database.  You have the option to opt-out from receiving any and/or all messages (informational, targeted advertising etc.) from Ajivar at any time by messaging us here. Please put Opt-out in the message body.Even after you opt out from receiving informational messages from us, you will continue to receive transactional messages from us regarding our Services. 

 

Other important privacy information

Notice to End Users

Many of our products are intended for use by organizations. Where the Services are made available to you through an organization (e.g. your employer or school), that organization is the administrator of the Services and is responsible for the accounts and/or Service sites over which it has control. If this is the case, please direct your data privacy questions to your administrator, as your use of the Services is subject to that organization’s policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of an administrator’s organization, which may be different than this policy. 

Administrators are able to:

  • require you to reset your account password;
  • restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Services;

Administrators cannot access your interaction data with Ajivar. 

 

Links To Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that you are under 16 and using our app or our site, we may terminate your user account and issue bans to your device.

 

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
